It sure has been raining a lot lately. I like the rain, though.
Sorry for the recent silence. I didn’t intend for the blog to go dark for such a long stretch of time, but it seems my brain is on vacation. I’m actually taking some time off later in the month; perhaps I’m getting an early start?
I’m sure you’ve heard by now, but voting is in progress for the inaugural Anime Blog Awards. Hop Step Jump has been nominated in three categories: Best Editorial Blog, Most Influential Blog, and Most Thought-Provoking Blog. Voting is open to the general public, so if you’re interested in participating, you can do so here. The polls close on May 15.
That’s all for now. I’m going to convalesce this weekend in hopes of finding some creative energy.

Too bad there’s no category for “Best Usage of Post Header Images”, because if anything, you tend to post some of the most spectacular/beautiful images for your posts.
Cheers.
This might be a bit presumptuous but have you caught Kaiba from this season? By far and away it’s the most creative/intelligent show of the season.
@Skane: I totally agree.
I think the reason of why I keep coming back to your blog is because of the atmosphere and style. Simple, but refined. Insightful, yet clear.
Let’s all welcome dear Summer… Can’t wait to sit outside and munch on watermelon slices.
It’s been raining hard here for the past couple of days as well. It’s a little nuisance, but easy to deal with. Helps living up on a hill in this case as well.
Breaks are always good. Breaks without rain are better.
A little rain would be nice around here. These days had been a little hotter lately.
I only hope that rain dont wet the ideas… ^_^
It doesn’t rain much around here, so I try to enjoy these periods best I can. They only happen a few times per year. Most of the time, when water falls from the sky, it’s in the form of snow.
Speaking of which, it’s supposed to snow tomorrow. I hope this is the last good snow (and freeze) of the season… I’d like to plant my garden this coming weekend.
hello. I was wondering where the picture in your post is from? it’s very captivating.
It’s from 5cm per second. You can find the image here.
I fixed your comment and adjusted the link, Muey.
