Sketchbook ~Full Colors~ is wonderful in so many ways.
As much as I enjoy the photo realistic backgrounds and detailed character animation in shows like Kanon and ef - a tale of memories, I really do prefer my anime a little more stylized in appearance. In a lot of ways, the animation in Sketchbook is the sort I like most: detailed as all get out, but still exaggerated and “cartoony” in presentation. It’s anime being anime.
And the clouds… they move!

Much as I thought the show was as interesting as watching water evaporate, Hanazawa Kana is the cutest thing since hamsters evolved.
Speaking of nice, “simple pleasures” shows: the Manabi Straight OVA is out, look for it on the usual places. :3
I’m thinking hamsters will eventually evolve into Hanazawa Kana.
The screenshot reminds me of Lucky Star.

I lol’ed.
Yeah, Sketchbook is suprisingly fun and interesting to watch. Kana Hanazawa’s voice is already big favourite of mine.
I think I probably should have liked this more than I did. I found the first episode to be rather boring. Maybe it was just late and I was tired.

I thought it serves well for a genuine stress reliever in a fun way (and thus sleep well.)
Anyway, its very amazing, fun and interesting to watch… lol

True.
Sora’s character grated a little with me, just ever so slightly, but I do love the rest of the cast.
Good first couple of episodes.
Well after my School Days marathon from yesterday, Sketchbook provided a most welcomed change of mood and atmosphere! Looking forward for the next episodes.
That… was wonderful! Just what this tired old duck needed.
Other than Sora being too shy (though that’s part of her personality, I hope to see her move past that a little), I loved the first episode. Hopefully they show how Sora’s introduced to the club, especially since the teacher recieves lots of time to herself there.
