In an old house in the middle of the mountains, a little girl lives all by herself. That girl’s name is Binchou-tan.
Today, Binchou-tan worked hard in town. There, she met Mr. Rabbit, who gave her a special treat. “Candy?” asks Binchou-tan. “Have some after dinner,” says Mr. Rabbit.
Tonight, after a long day’s work, Binchou-tan takes a trip.

…congratulations, you managed to make an already really tripped out sequence even MORE tripped out.
I like it!
I can tell that the song is about Alice in Wonderland but I can’t say that I’ve heard it before. Is it from some musical about Alice?
The song makes the scene seem exciting because it sounds more like an opera (high pitched voice and all). Amazing how background music can change the emotional impact of a scene.
Opera? Not quite. Here’s the story behind the song.
I already know that Lewis Carroll was a drug user which is why Alice in Wonderland turned out to be such a messed up story but I never realised the song was actually talking about drug effects. Interesting!! Either way, it still makes the scene more interesting than it actually is. Her tearful eyes at the beginning of the scene broke my heart. How can anyone make this little girl cry?! Poor Bincho (pun not intended)!!
